CEO of Olive Garden: the average customer eats 5 breadsticks with a standard deviation of 2, which means--
Nassim Taleb: crashes through the window YOU IMBECILE. UNLIMITED BREADSTICKS FORM A LEVY STABLE DISTRIBUTION WITH A FAT TAIL. THE VARIANCE IS INFINITE AND IMMEASURABLE.

Fun response in the twitter thread:
Not to judge, but do you have cable? I watched jeopardy for the first time in years at a hotel last weekend
There's your mainstream giggling at the idea of even having cable TV.

Is the Windows XP dog (Rover) in there? He was part of Microsoft Bob, an invention of Mrs. Gates. Wasn't that around the same time as Clippy?

Heisenberg, Gödel, and Chomsky walk into a bar …
Heisenberg looks around the bar and says, “Because there are three of us and because this is a bar, it must be a joke. But the question remains, is it funny or not?”
And Gödel thinks for a moment and says, “Well, because we’re inside the joke, we can’t tell whether it is funny. We’d have to be outside looking at it.”
And Chomsky looks at both of them and says, “Of course it’s funny. You’re just telling it wrong.”
