Boston College was 4 miles from my house, so I could walk there. My father went there, my grandfather went there. There was no need for any extra visit, an easy decision. When I started there the majority were commuters, after 4 years the majority were residents. I think it is now 100% residents. No more living in your parents house and walking to school.

That's why Nikon came out with a new DSLR on its standard mount system right before the olympics: the market was professionals in exactly that situation.
