Heading over to Wolf Trap to hear The President's Own https://express.adobe.com/page/344owTgQyI1QW/ followed by a fireworks display. Something for everybody!
@Mik is your daughter there yet?
-
Yes, she worked the show last night, but won't be there today. Her job is pretty good - negotiating terms with the artists' representatives, establishing the schedule and needed resources(lighting, sound, stage crew, load-in and load-out, dressing room stuff (think no brown M&Ms)), creating and distributing the one sheet (everything the staff needs to know) and calendar. So far so good.

After hanging out with a friend from DC and getting some grub, the kiddo is passed out. Which works out, because tonight we're returning to Ravenloft to search for Vecna, destroying his eye and hand for all time.
(Aside to @LuFins-Dad and @Horace I'm pretty damn sure our DM coordinated the timing of this campaign to go with the Stranger Things 4 release. Which, mad props to him, that's some pretty cool planning.)

I just finished pineapple-bacon salsa to serve over grilled salmon. Very tasty. Friends coming over.
I’m hoping to hear The Presidents own up, but I think it’s unlikely any of them will admit to it.
Other than that, I’m watching episode 2 of Obi wan with son number wan, and making gin drinks. At my son’s request, I bought a bottle so he can try gin and tonic. He has determined that he doesn’t like it, which was the best news I’ve had all week.

Just got off a horse. Neither of us is particularly hungry, it'll be salad and some frozen quiche tonite. Otherwise no plans.

episode 2 of Obi wan
Any good?
I found The Mandalorian tiresome, and I never watched the last two of the third trilogy.

Boba Fett was much better and I think Obi-wan could be the best of the bunch. After two episodes it hasn’t really got going yet, but Ewan McGregor is very good as the defeated and depressed former Jedi.

Yes, Boba Fett was ok.
The Mandalorian, an assassin with a heart of gold.
Huh?
Give me a break. We spent a lot of time with Obi-wan in the original 9 movies. I guess this series will fill in some holes, but we already have seen a good part of his life and after-life.
I have watched the 2 episodes so far, they are ok. If you have watched all the other movies this is probably required.
