It was a horror. Trust me. I made enough for two lunches (a 15 oz can of Skyline). I put the other half in the fridge. It'll make a good lunch on Tuesday - if I remember the cheddar.

@Horace said in Is there a hole from your ear to your throat?: 10% worse than the box in Dune the kid had to put his hand in. Be grateful you didn't have a Gom Jabbar touching your neck.

I'd like to seem them try Thomas Covenant. I loved those books. The rape thing might be quite problematic nowadays, I guess. It was pretty problematic back then. It took the idea of an anti-hero to an extreme

Untold percentages of these subscription service revenues would be lost if an affirmative opt in was required every year.

The highest rated QB in the NFL... In the NFL Draft of 2021, he was the last to be picked. And it seems he has made it his life’s mission to prove the people who doubted him wrong. According to Spotrac, he signed a four-year contract worth $3,737,008 in 2021 with the 49ers. His contract also included a $77,008 signing bonus and had a clause wherein $77,008 of the money was guaranteed. That brings his average annual salary to $934,252. This year, because of the way the contract is structured, he will earn a base salary of $870,000, while carrying a cap hit of $889,252 and a dead cap value of $57,756. https://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/nfl/what-is-brock-purdy-s-salary-49ers-elite-remains-nfl-s-most-underpaid-qb/ar-AA1lUhwP

Very cute! My convo with Finley yesterday: M: What would you like to give mommy for Christmas? F: sigh… I just don’t know… M: Well… Let’s try this. Tell me what you know about Mommy. When I say Mommy, what’s the first thing that you think of? F: I know she loves me! M: Very good! Anything else? F: And she loves canons, too! M: … Canons? Do you mean candy? That would be a nice gift… F: No! A canon! A superhero canon that she could blast the bad guys…

Very few marijuana charges are on an island. They are normally combined with other charges. DUI, Firearms, Domestic Violence, Assault, Trafficking… In some cases, the drug charges represent parole violations, or the marijuana charges are an escalator for various charges. I don’t think that it can be or should be as simple as pardoning the Marijuana charges… What about a guy serving time for Marijuana. He assaults another prisoner. Does he get released?

You know...Maybe in 25 years, we'll find out why San Fran Nan didn't want additional security at the Capitol on 1/6. Or how she managed to keep such a tight hold on her caucus. I think Pelosi has always been very good at working in the shadows

@Horace said in What happened to the Bee writers that were laid off 18 months ago?: I don’t recall the story about being fired for partying with Elon. They weren’t fired for partying with Elon, just shortly after.

Putin and company kept him alive until such time that they were confident they knew where all the money and offshore assets were stashed.

Really makes you think. If it can happen to Charlie Sheen, it could happen to any of us.
