Yeah, there are a lot of good bands out there. For those who become superstar, there is definitely some luck involved - being in the right place at the right time.
I have been at the controls, a couple times, when the plane was being hand-propped.
Terrifying.
I was sure I would take his head off, or at least a few fingers. I was pressing the brakes as hard as I could.
But it was no big deal.

I was the only one at the table who enjoyed some of the dark meat from our turkey. Am I an idiot? I always find it tastes a bit better and juicier than the white meat. Of course it all tastes good when you drown it in gravy and add some cranberry orange sauce.
It’s equally hard to imagine any oil well drilling contractor or well equipment and service company in the North American patch back in 1979 telling their marketing and sales staff they can’t wear cowboy boots with business suits.
True story, a woman I know from the lung transplant community worked at a bar when she was young. The employees were always making jokes about sending employees to work at the Taco Bell across the street.
At some point they had a bet going and the loser had to work at Taco Bell for a week. My friend lost.
