The gay dude seems to think he’s more important than he is (analyst and desk officer doesn’t exactly mean you’re in White House confidential meetings). I do feel bad for the ambush but also agree with O’Keefe. How are you any good at your job if you don’t realize who O’Keefe is?
Also the irony that he starts out by saying “I’m great at keeping secrets”. But as @Horace points out above… gossip girl!

Maybe not in this case, but lemmee tell you something...At my old workplace, people were often astounded I sometimes knew what I knew.
The system was very easy. I talked to people, especially the "little" people. Secretaries, housekeepers, folks in the business office or maybe over in payroll. A pharmacy tech or a scrub tech.
Sure you get rumors, but it's like putting a puzzle together for the most likely outcome.
