She was treated for osteoarthritis by an orthopedic surgeon with whom she was friends. It was renal carcinoma, and she was dead about 3 months after the correct diagnosis.

It’s pretty vague. Hard to know what they mean by “part of the lawsuit”. Part of the settlement? Seems unlikely. Part of why the Murdoch’s are done with him? Sure, could be.
