      Sports sure are a two edged sword. I think the coach is right that the players will remember that loss for the rest of their lives.

      Education is extremely important.

        That was a stupid mistake, tough.

        It's not as bad as Russell Wilson throwing to Malcolm Butler.

            If you watch the full video of the game (or at least the last inning, as I did) the batter before this batter actually had a pop-up to the pitcher to end the game. The pitcher dropped the ball, so a run scored. All of this could've been avoided had the pitcher caught an easy pop-up.

            Anyway, the catcher's actions were bizarre. He must've been so excited to celebrate he presumed the umpire thought he tagged the batter/runner. Stupid mistake. The 2nd basement will be haunted forever with his futile attempts at getting the ball to home plate.
