Don't know about y'all, but any race down here has at least a half-dozen people nobody has ever heard of. If not for social media, nobody would.

Now leave.: The whole point of the mandate is public health Exactly, and I think that the vaccine accomplishes this. I think that statistics show that vaccinated people are less likely to get sick, and if they get sick, less likely to be hospitalized, and if they get hospitalized, less likely to die. Now, tell me again why we are kicking a rescue swimmer to the curb. We shouldn't. As I said upstream in this thread, science and knowledge changes. We (generic we) need to change with it. However, in my opinion, it is something that is very difficult for public figures (for example, politicians) to either A)admit they were wrong or B)just change their mind when new information comes in

Saw a note that came to me that the OPEC is currently under pumping their stated output, so the actual decrease in production will be about 800K- 900K barrel per day. (Not a small amount of course, but a fair difference from 2 MM barrel per day)

Price was no object. These things come and go. If the industry receives enough funding I expect we'll discover all kinds of new genders that will benefit us all.

For a wonderful moment, I thought you’d discovered a decent British newspaper and you’d been weaned off your Daily Mail predilection. Sadly, it’s the “New York” variation on a paper that even Murdoch couldn’t ruin.

@Mik Putin has been at war with the West for the last seven years, maybe longer. Am surprised it’s taken Cohen so long to figure it all out. Cohen comes across as less than rational about it all.

@George-K said in SpaceX launching in a few minutes: Pretty sloppy. That first stage landing was at least 10 feet off center. Years ago there was a Soviet weightlifter who was paid extra, by the State, every time he set a world record. So, he made sure he set the record by the narrowest possible margin, leaving room for him to set the record again in the next competition. Maybe it is something like that.
