@LuFins-Dad said in Laxalt may lose Nevada: @Jolly said in Laxalt may lose Nevada: I have no problem with early voting, as long as it is with 10 or 14 days of the election, done in person at the courthouse or at a designated location such as a public library, etc. I’m even okay with mail in if you are going to be traveling or have a second home out of state or out of country… But I do expect that ballot to be notarized… Too high a bar for my taste. Nobody notarizes my signature when I vote in person.

Oh, good. I was not aware of that. My basic point still stands. Use the freed-up money to reduce the remaining debt faster.

No clue. Here's a link to the post on FB. The whole thread is very much worthwhile. Or you could look on my page and go from there. https://www.facebook.com/groups/1076593759190274/user/100006504039950

It’s use is receding, thankfully, but it’s not dead yet. I don’t see political ads living in a blue state with the priciest ad market in the country but I imagine they finally realized it doesn’t poll well.

@George-K said in We have a new election denier.: I believe A serious matter The View returns with new chairs for season 26 after Joy Behar fall "You touch it, and you're on the ground," moderator Whoopi Goldberg previously said of the show's swivel chairs that were replaced for the season 26 premiere. The View panelist Joy Behar has emerged victorious over the chair that tried to take her down in March. The long-running ABC talk show returned for season 26 on Tuesday, with the ladies — including new permanent co-hosts Ana Navarro and Alyssa Farah Griffin — taking their seats on a new set of chairs noticeably different from the model Behar tumbled from earlier this year. The new seats do not have a swivel base attached to them, as the previous set did. Each chair has four tall legs fixed to the ground, while the earlier seating had one central leg with a rotating cushion. EW has learned that the season 26 table is smaller than it has been in the past, so new chairs were needed. However, when deciding on a new design for the set, the team kept the accessibility of the chairs in mind and ultimately chose furniture that was more stable. https://twitter.com/NineDaves/status/1499416812563402762?ref_src=twsrc^tfw|twcamp^tweetembed|twterm^1499416812563402762|twgr^60463f7e5834e4a01ac98dafd7502cc545d30faf|twcon^s1_&ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Few.com%2Ftv%2Fthe-view-new-chairs-season-26-joy-behar-fall%2F

George, do you make Goulash at home? That was another dish my mom used to make that we liked. I'm kind of on a childhood food kick these days. Hers had sour cream in it. Do you have a recipe? Looking at this one. A lot of them I've looked at just look like Johnny Marzetti, beef, tomatoes and Italian seasoning in macaroni. https://www.tasteofhome.com/recipes/hungarian-goulash/ By the way, just looked at my mom's stroganoff recipe. Very similar to the one I made last night.

By the way George if Cats isn't available to respond to her posts, you can start making Hey Horace! posts instead. I think TNCR needs more of my posts, so it is good to have something queued up for me.

I wouldn't kick a Hazy out of bed a bar, but I enjoy a good 6-7% American, usually northwest, using Citra, Simcoe, Centennial, and similar hops.

@Jolly said in The problem with ranked voting...: So, a majority of people can choose a candidate as their number one selection, yet that candidate can lose the race? No. Ranked choice only comes into play if no one gets a majority. It’s basically just a pre-registered set of runoffs. If Murkowsky beats Tshibaca it will be because more Alaskans prefer Murkowsky over her, period.
