He's back to his usual pleasant self. This kid suffers SO much with any illness, and he's had his share of them - HFM, RSV, croup, etc. But if he's not sick and suffering, he's delightful. How is it very similar politically to 30 years ago? Inexorable leftward lurch. For instance, people are no longer shifting to the right in their middle age to the extent they used to. Parents and children are more often in the same political tribe. I didn’t see that back then and I definitely do not see that around here now. If anything I see young people lining up increasingly behind their more traditionally conservative minded grandparents.
