I've been flying a sim of one of those in VR. After numerous attempts, and a fair amount of profane language, I have yet to successfully land it on the carrier. I'm guessing that in reality it is a much more straightforward process 🤓

Somewhat related, the story mentions the poison gas used. I read somewhere that there were occasion recent findings of pockets of WWI poison gas in low laying areas under bridges, etc in places like Belgium.

BTW, Jay Leno's Garage has been on for several years. There's a ton of episodes on YouTube. Lot's of very interesting vehicles. Anda few things that aren't, like Merlin aircraft engines and walking beam steam engines.
