A snow-covered bridge in Pittsburgh collapsed Friday morning, just hours before President Joe Biden was expected to visit the city on a previously scheduled trip to discuss infrastructure.

No fatalities have been reported, Pittsburgh Mayor Ed Gainey said in a news conference at the scene.
There had been 10 "minor injuries," Fire Chief Darryl Jones said, and three people were transported from the scene. None of the injuries were life-threatening, he said.
Four vehicles were on the bridge when it fell, Jones said. Teams are still performing reconnaissance to ensure no one was under the bridge when it collapsed, he said.

Forbes and Braddock, over Frick Park. That's going to create traffic headaches. It was the only bridge over that area for quite a ways.

I believe Mayor Pete's #1 policy goal is equity.

We have to make our infrastructure available to all.

Fixing roads and bridges are way down the list.
