@Jolly said in Uh, about that committee...: @xenon said in Uh, about that committee...: I only talk politics with you lot. Or I guess when I mansplain to my family back in Canada that their caricature understanding of American political issues is wrong. But to answer your question, no. Prithee, what is your parents perception of American politics? Greatest country in the world. Eons ahead of sort of politically corrupt places they came from. But my dad still sometimes worries that some people will think he's taliban - He has a turban and beard - so he dresses extra nice when he's here.

No beer company needs a tricked out bottle to let one challenges friends to drinking beer.

@jon-nyc said in Bwhahahahahaha....: Ummmm he wrote a concurrence I think that's understood. I heard that Roberts wrote a concurring opinion that accused the majority of unnecessarily upsetting the country, even if the legal justification was sound.

@Axtremus said in A long deep dive into the law of Roe & Dobbs: the right to have children also implies the right to not have one. But there is no right to commit murder. I guess there is a right to kill people during a war. Maybe we could declare war on women and children and thereby legalize murdering babies. That might satisfy a liberal scotus.

Sure, dead babies are cheaper than live babies, even with the travel expense. The stockholders will be happy. Now, Democrats will love greedy corporations.

I actually feel sorry for Sock. Every - EVERY - single thing he has said or predicted with total, unwavering confidence over the years has turned out to be wrong... the man bats zero. Yet he is not smart enough to figure out, after all this time and NEVER being correct.....that he has invested himself in a failed politicsl ideology that at this point even a retarded monkey should have figured out....
