    Edwards took so much heat on this issue last year, he didn't dare veto it again. Louisiana joins a growing number of states.

        It's the wrong side of everything, including common sense.

        This article is the only one I redd so I may be missing something, but I think the governor is kind of a wimp about this. Either support it or don't support it, Mr. Wishy Washy. What does he hope to accomplish this way?

          He's a Democrat. Currying favor with the national party, without burning every local bridge he has.
