The saying, "Lite is just one damn thing after another," is a gross understatement. The damn things overlap.

To boycott BMW, just don’t buy BMW products.
To boycott Cisco, don’t use teh Internet.
To boycott Bethesda, don’t use Bethesda services.
To boycott BP, don’t buy BP oil/petroleum/diesel.
To boycott Visa, don’t use Visa cards.

      1. And 5. are harder, all the others are easy.

You know, I heard a gay guy on a radio talk show this morning. He said he had been at the forefront of many gay rights issues...Housing rights, marriage rights, etc.. But he didn't like this Pride Month stuff. And he really didn't like the linkage between transgendered and gays, within the Pride Movement.

His point? He didn't want to be thought of as special. He just wanted people to think of him as like everybody else...

Loser solution. Winners would build their own internet.

          Education is extremely important.

            That's actually a healthy approach.

              That’s basically Andrew Sullivan’s take.

Lots of gay and transgender folks in the nerd community. Tons. Most of them that I know stopped doing pride stuff years ago for that reason, and also because they thought it was just getting ridiculous.

                  Please love yourself.
