    Just the other day, my family and I were getting pizza when we get to the end of the line, where the hot pepper seeds are. I'm a big fan of them and the shop usually has them pretty fresh, so I took everything in the bowl. When the guy behind me asked, "are you seriously going to use all of those," I turned around and said, "shut the fuck up, bitch, Imma fuck your mother so's she can have a kid she actually loves."

    1/10.

    Other options are either Idaho or south western Montana. Crisp winters, plenty of hills, pristine nature and very little in the way of the ever burdensome pop culture pollution.

    Yes it was an ITV production. I recall reading somewhere that it was cancelled or, at least postponed, owing to production costs. The lead actor though was interested in reviving it on the big screen.

    That was quite embarrassing indeed, but I believe we did discuss this clip in the past already.

    In some areas, children were not named until age two. I don't know that it took away the sting or reduced the pain, but they wanted to save the name for another chance to use it.

    In Taiwan (and many other Asian countries), there is a bigger celebration when the baby turns one year old rather than when it is born.

    I always think that it goes back to when many babies dies very young. If they made it to age one, there was a better chance they would live.

    @Jolly fascinating.

    One of the surgeons I worked with was a private pilot. He was complaining about EPA regulations requiring aviation fuel be environmentally "friendly."

    However, no such fuel existed at the time of our conversation.

    Perhaps @Copper can shed more light on this.

    These asshats no concept of the "long game."

    Yes, this has been going on for a long time. In fact, I'm sure we discussed it here.

    I seem to remember a time while I was still an airplane owner when this came very close to happening. It was only at the last minute that someone figured out that this requirement would shutdown the entire aviation industry worldwide, or at least cripple it for a long time.

    An environmentally friendly fuel requirement would have meant no general aviation, at least until every plane in the fleet was "fixed". This would mean no new pilots. No new pilots would mean no aviation.

    The FAA is still researching ways to make this magic fuel.

    I was surprised to learn a few years ago that Carter appointed Volcker.

    Shouldn’t Carter get some of the credit for ending inflation because of this? I fee like I’m missing part of the story.
