I'm trying to figure out what kind of rig they have on that boat. That kinda looks like a crawfish trap they are passing, but it's a little different design than I'm used to. BTW, it is mudbug season down here. Getting some big ones now...

@Doctor-Phibes said in This morning's musical interlude: "I Thank You.": I went to see BB King play in the 1980's, and his brass section were really wailing. I love the brass best of all. Do you do the Latin Kings?

Did the bank have an armed guard? Did the bank had any unsecured side door?

I'm guessing that one person in authority has stuck with this, and most are just going along to keep the peace. We sent our two to a Montessori pre-K, and if they could have stayed there forever I (and they) would have been very happy.

I made salmon with a mango-coconut marinade, and roasted asparagus with lemon and Parmesan. But it wasn’t Easter dinner for me. It was just dinner.

Donnie, the former A.G. would have been gone from the Department of Justice, not the White House. It's, like, a whole different Department. Just sayin.

I don’t see why we even bother with such transparent bullshit. Might be best to just make our stance clear.

Those were good. Totally unrelated, and perhaps due to my anti-Twitter bias, but how is it 2023 and the internet still has an interface where you have to reply to your own post just to make a list/thread/whatever. Where's a good blog when you need one?

Ugh that is a high dewpoint! It's 60 and sunny here today. Same yesterday, warmer tomorrow. Needless to say we are spending lots of time outside right now.

@Axtremus said in Search a phrase?: Like Ishino et al. after teaching the world how to precisely edit gene sequences with CRISPR-Cas9, @Axtremus wonders how the discourse on TNCR may change forever after exposing the trick for precise multi word sequence search … You spent so much time asking whether you could, you failed to ask, whether you should.
