I don’t know a single person in my age range that watches these shows. I knew a bunch when I was in college and I used to watch them myself.

Wife has a first cousin that desired a career in law enforcement and got a job as a sheriff's deputy. He was trying to serve a warrant and went to the wrong address. Opening the gate and walking into the yard, he was scared by a barking dog. He's scared of dogs. Any dog. IIRC, it was a beagle he shot and killed. In an election year for the sheriff. He has a tow truck business now...
