The speed might be about the same, maybe a little faster in the jet. There are turboprops that are much faster. I don't know for sure, but the operating cost might be lower in this jet. A single private pilot can fly it, but you need an add-on endorsements for high-altitude and a type-rating for the jet. The parachute is a big deal. Showing off the jet to your friends is worth something.

What are their preferred pronouns? Do they know what "pronoun" is yet?

Something I've mentioned before... The P-47 was very good in the ground assault role (along with the Corsair). Radial engines can absorb hits that would down in-line motors like the Merlin. And those 50 caliber guns were effective, along with the rocket package carried on many of those missions. The USAAF found that young pilots made the best ground attack pilots. Brave, almost foolhardy, it was not an unheard of sight to see a young pilot flying a P-47 underneath power lines at full throttle, guns blazing.
