Replace the thatched roof with cedar shakes and you can find any number of such houses throughout the Rocky Mountain foothills of Alberta or throughout the BC interior and Vancouver Island.

@George-K That is strange. The coat maybe, but that tassel thing? That’s definitely a drapery tie-back. The whole room is odd, but I’ve seen odd taxidermy here, squirrels, gophers. Is stuffing a squirrel common?
