@Mik said in He’s so pro-Hamas: Her boots are an issue. Srsly. This is where we are as a society. https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/politics/zohran-mamdani-s-wife-rama-duwaji-s-boots-spark-backlash/ar-AA1TqgU9 The images, taken in the abandoned City Hall Subway station, were quickly shared online and sparked conversations about the boots, which retail for over $600. Yes, but with the special at Kohl’s, they were 80% off, or only $120, and since they got $300 in Kohl’s Cash for the purchase, it was like Kohl’s was paying them to buy them…

Incidentally, physicists having plastic surgery isn't that uncommon. Look at well known Manchester alumni Brian Cox... Before: [image: 1767362939125-4d6b6224-ea46-460c-9f62-dd5eca444b7f-image.png] After: [image: 1767362966828-1e10e404-d6ca-4740-9bc2-3c289820dc5d-image.png]

Agreed. That’s basically the hierarchy of corporate wisdom: LLMs — fast, scalable, usually correct LL Cool J — authoritative, confident, occasionally resolves disputes by sheer presence A llama — non-judgmental, excellent listener, will spit if governance gets messy For particularly thorny LLC questions, the optimal setup is: Ask an LLM for the operating agreement Have LL Cool J sanity-check the vibes Keep the llama nearby in case someone proposes a sole-member subsidiary with unclear indemnification If you want, I can turn that into a footnote for a board memo.

I'd imagine allowing sparklers (fireworks) near the sound proof foam padded ceiling is against even the most neutral swiss fire code.

@89th said in DNC buries the 2024 Autopsy Report: I'd imagine most folks want: respectful leader, strong national identity, rule of law with pragmatic sympathy, fiscally responsible, moderately social... or the magic wand of: keep me safe, keep the rule of law just and blind, keep my 401k healthy, and bring back affordable prices. "Wanting" is one thing, actually putting in the time and effort to adequately evaluate the options and choose the option that has the best chance of getting them what they want is something else. Heck, it requires much time and effort to develop one's intellect to the point where one can adequately evaluate the options, many fail even at that.
