There’s a bird egg in our flower bed, from one of the pond ducks presumably. Don’t tell Trump about it, he really hates nest eggs.

I like how ducks don't bother with a nest. Wherever they happen to be waddling around that day, sure, that's a good place to dump a baby.

Best grab them. Might need something to eat.

I hope pests don't eat it. They eat everything else around there.

Are you sure it's not a dinosaur egg?

Gonna be a big family. Yesterday there was only one egg, and it was fully covered in the mulch debris. This morning as I walked towards the nest, the duck flew away, and this is what I saw. I expect them to be covered by tomorrow.

Should be hatching soon. She’s been on them all day for the past two weeks.

There was a sad incident with our dog finding the nest and breaking two eggs. There are six still. I was surprised the mom still accepted the nest after that, but she was unphased.

Duck eggs are supposed to hatch after a month, so we should be close.

Apparently your dog believes in late stage abortions.

                              4th and 5th trimester. That’s based.
