Progress is unattainable when the "victim" relishes their role.

The part of the racism narrative that disappoints me the most is how it damages the psyches of black folk who should be way more optimistic about their prospects in life than we tell them they should be. But the progressives pushing the narratives don't give that aspect of it a single thought, from what I can tell. And now we have a population of people of color who go to sleep every night worried that a cop will murder their child.

There is a better one! Apparently a FB employee tweeted about how he was quitting FB and couldn't stand to be associated with this, etc. The tweet went viral and was liked and retweeted all day. But not his follow up tweet where he added 'to be clear, my leaving was has been in the works for some time...'

What's sad, is Breed had nothing bad to say about protesting in general or in the case of Floyd's death. He just thought kneeling for the anthem disrespected the flag and the men who fought and died under the banner. For that, he was chastised by even some of his teammates. There has never been another athlete who has given more of his time and his money to the Chocolate City.
