What a stupid thing for the board to do, assuming what we heard was correct.

My thought too but I keep wondering what haven’t we heard.

As I’ve noted here for 10+ years, progressivism and its new name wokeism is the most socially (and economically) advantageous set of political/cultural beliefs to hold and communicate. From grade school to adult working life.

Ever heard a perfectly tuned piano?

What does that even mean? When would a piano be in "perfect tune"? Inharmonicity of the strings means that every tuning must necessarily be a tradeoff, no? You can select some overtones for perfect alignment, but that means others will necessarily be out of tune.

Wish I could give him a few. I ran mine yesterday and they were almost 10,000 units. Positive is over 1000. I ran them on an Atellica IM platform. It's a total antibody test, so may not be as good as Jon's friend's test. Does have the advantage of ten minutes box time.

I don't think docs utilize the test as much as they need to, especially in older, vaccinated patients. But that gets into the vaccination/T-cell debate...

Yeah, these were fun. When I used to do a lot more player work, it was fun to download the MIDI files to play on the aftermarket systems. Naturally, they played best on a Disklavier, but if you were willing to spend a little time working on the expression curves (or even manually editiing--but that's nuts) the playback was awesome.

@LuFins-Dad Obviously 2020 was a wash...but it looks like they didn't upload the MIDI files for the 2019 competition...Is that something they're doing away with?

In any case, it'll be fun to see the behind the scenes stuff.

How much cognitive dissonance must progressive American Jews have over this stuff? I imagine they try really hard not to think about it.

    The fight is the thing

If you are losing you want to fight

"Lose the Game, Win the Fight" was what we used to say

    Many long years ago

    Boys will be boys

    I know, woke, woke, woke

I can't imagine the day when young men won't want to fight, but we seem to be working on it

    Impressive indeed!

My cats used to like a toe massage between their toe beans. They loved it so much they just went limp. 😄

@loki said in India and Ivermectin:

Treatment for who in the US? Seems like prevention is the answer, why would you dick with a treatment and create noise in the media? Politics?

Of course prevention is the answer. But it's not 100% as we all know.

Once you GET the disease, what are you going to do? The only thing that seems to mitigate is supportive therapies (some of which have been shown to be potentially harmful).

Taibbi's point, however, is that despite "believe the science," the people who want to even discuss it are shut down and silenced. They may be wrong, but they may be right, but we'll never know because they're not allowed to talk about it.

    Galileo wept.

It seems like the pro ivermectin crowd is the anti-vax crowd and if it worked so well poor countries would eat it up. Occam’s razor.

    Wielded by balaam's ass?😆
