@Rich said in 28 Years Later: The opening scene to 28 weeks later was good enough I'll probably watch this. It's what I think of each time I hear about the franchise, too. Great scene. Nightmare fuel, too. Link to video

@Friday said in I got an owie!: I don't have high cuffed leather welders gloves like Renauda. But I do have a suede jacket, gardening gloves, and a fencing mask. It's not sexy, but it works. The fencing mask seems prudent. I have welders gloves too. Protects arms and hands.

I’ve made them once with limited success. Commercial gnocchi is awful. I wish you could taste my favorite ones in Southern Pines NC. Unearthly good. I fear it has closed.

Also the denominator is much lower in administrative costs than for provider costs. This makes the graph misleading. Like when you see cumulative percentage growth of religions and Christianity and Islam are relatively flat while wiccanism increased 100x.

@jon-nyc said in NHS Blocks Puberty Blockers: Overturned? The link says upheld. Maybe a lower court overturned it. Nitpick maybe. Certainly,.

Those are fun. I subscribe to Robin Hanson's newsletter, and he gave free tickets to a zoom event he did with some podcaster. There were only about 30 people and there was a lot of audience participation. I didn't turn the camera on or participate, but it was neat to be there. Not that I'd ever leave the house for it, but it was neat to be there from the comfort of my office chair.
