It is interesting how they can do that together. Somewhat similar and amazing to me is how a flock of birds can move pretty much together, turning, looping, up/down even with thousands in the flock.

Ayup, turkey noodle soup is my first line of defense from too much turkeydom. Next is turkey pot pie. Both freeze well.

@George-K said in The "Shot - Chaser" thread: @taiwan_girl said in The "Shot - Chaser" thread: @George-K Not sure how the President Biden tweet fits this thread? "I'm gonna be a brave guy and stand against Putin." "Never mind..." Hmm, a bit too early to say I think. I will admit that i have only been following the situation there from the major news stories and dont have any background, but I am not sure what could have/should have been done differently to this point. (I do know that Taiwan is watching this with great interest to see how the western powers react to an invasion)

@LuFins-Dad said in I don't trust the police.: in about 2-3 days a group inspired by this group will be shutting down my work. They will impact my ability to provide for my family. See #2 & #3 above. I said it about ANTIFA in Portland, and I stand by my stance. (can I say that?)

Coban = with latex Coflex = latex free Outward appearance the same, same use in the lab (post-phlebotomy), Coflex costs a wee bit more.

I've worked with the CDC a couple of times on a small research project - a completely different department from this, but still.... I found the people there to be extremely careful, possibly to a fault, and very willing to learn, but with a distinct tendency to get lost in the weeds.

I was on a plane once, there was only two open seats, one next to me and one across the aisle next to another guy. All of a sudden, this extremely heavy guy starts walking down the aisle. I catch eyes with the guy across the aisle, and we both know we are thinking the same thing, "please dont sit next to me! Please dont sit next to me!" I felt like I won the lucky ticket when he went and sat next to the other guy. 55555 Yes, we've all been there. I think the worst-case scenario is some English wanker wearing an enormous sombrero and an offensive t-shirt featuring donkeys, who is making a connection on his way home from a holiday in Spain, and has been in the pub for the last 5 hours. And no, George, I don't own a sombrero. At least, not anymore.

I am pretty sure someone posted here: "Most modern day orchestras are nothing more than 1700's-1800's cover bands!" But yes, music does evolve. US country music 1950's is very different from 2010's country music. Does that make one country music and the other not country music? Ummmm, probably not. For most people (of course not every one), the ages from maybe 10-30 set your musical tastes and personal understanding of what a certain "genre" if music should sound like.
