Yeah, the inclines, though, are built to always stay level without moving. We had three of them in Cincinnati. That train has the rotating cylinders.

@mik said in I'll bet a lot of people are getting nervous today:

The best thing to come out of this would be to knock the Trumps and Clintons out of 24.

The more I think about that, the more sense it makes.

Putin's credentials as a fighter are not so clear, but if they are not fake, he might be able to kick some serious ass.

Putin has been practicing judo since he was 11 years old,[558] before switching to sambo at the age of fourteen.[559] He won competitions in both sports in Leningrad (now Saint Petersburg). He was awarded eighth dan of the black belt in 2012, becoming the first Russian to achieve the status.[560] Putin also practises karate.[561] He co-authored a book entitled Judo with Vladimir Putin in Russian, and Judo: History, Theory, Practice in English (2004).[562] Benjamin Wittes, a black belt in taekwondo and aikido and editor of Lawfare, has disputed Putin's martial arts skills, stating that there is no video evidence of Putin displaying any real noteworthy judo skills

Yes, for those of unrefined palate.

Conventional wisdom these days says refined sugar is not as healthy; unrefined is better.

She certainly was lovable wasn't she? Honestly, every once in a while, when I see a stack of red delicious, I think of her.

The good news is in the civil war all I will need to do is yell “I was bit by a bat!” and sneeze. My enemies will all run away.

@doctor-phibes said in DirecTV drops OAN:

From what I've seen, OAN is a massive pile of crap.

    Never seen anything on OAN.

The idea that they're providing balance against the MSM is laughable.

Has Rachel Maddow retracted her conspiracy theory, by the way? Has VP Harris gotten the "Trump Vaccine?" What about MSNBC host Joy Ann Reid?

    Just wondering.

When an 80 year old dies, a few years might be lost.

When a 20 year old dies, decades are lost.

So we should be measuring days, months or years lost.

I installed a Naivien tankless about ten years ago. I like it. However I also do all my own annual maintenance on it. Too expensive to have a plumber come out once a year to run vinegar through the system. Costs me $10.00 for vinegar plus a pump that paid for itself on the first system flush.

Freed up a whole lot of space in the basement ( we had two sixty gallon tanks) and saved on the monthly gas bill.
