I really liked Bush Jr. I thought he was much smarter and more authentic than the press gave him credit for during his time in office. My opinion of him has only grown since then. When he released the public statement re-affirming the race narrative in the wake of George Floyd, I lost respect for him as a thinking human being. I also lost a sliver of hope for humanity in general, when someone like him can get swept up by the righteous mob group-think like that. He didn't need to say anything.

That’s good. I did not think he could possibly be beaten. Despite the Trump effect, Ohio voters are by and large a sensible lot. Vance is winning the Senate primary. Not who I voted for, but he’d be my second choice. I have no problem voting for him.
