    Last November, a revolution came to life in Virginia, a rebellion by parents who wanted a say into what their kids were being taught in school, mainly about race.

    A good way to phrase that. CRT not explicitly mentioned, and therefore no opening for a knee-jerk eyeroll giggly dismissal from the programmed leftist response.

    You go, girl.

    (Although the soldier was trying to be cool and civil, FWIW.)

    Good backgrounder from Axios: https://www.axios.com/us-ukraine-troop-training-47be92ec-3693-4f60-88b8-19ff0055134e.html

    Point: Votes could come as soon as next week.

    Point: House Armed Services Chairman Adam Smith (D-Wash.) told CNN the odds of passing a bill "in a rapid enough fashion to repel the invasion are remote."

    Point: Ukrainian forces so far have been buoyed by foreign military aid and drastic modernization since 2014.

    In this article anyway, I see no set-in-place plan, but rather are "considering ways to train Ukrainian forces remotely."

    @Jolly I saw a story today, can't remember where, making the case that possessing a nuclear arsenal by small(er) countries might actually be a good thing, because of MAD.

    @LuFins-Dad said in Cyberwar:

    I sometimes wonder whether Science Fiction predicted the dark web and all of these hackers and such living in their own cyber worlds and nations or if sci-fi influenced and inspired all of the same…

    @kluurs I agree, it is amazing. I grew up poor, but one thing I remember my parents always telling me was to learn to live on 80% of what you make. Save at least 20%.

    It is a good idea. We need to up production as well and start shipping gas to Europe. No idea what infrastructure would be required, but if we could turn off their money spigot that would be serious pressure.
