I'm on the budget plan with Commonwealth Edison. I just got an email saying that my "budget" amount for my next bill is about 18% higher.

Here's my usage for the last two years.

Cuba has been working on a protein based vaccine, which has been shown to be actually pretty good. (Of course, it has not gone through the same "peer review" and data analyses at others.)

Seems like he is eating about one can a day. I did a quick look and it appears that one can is about USD $25.

More expensive than I thought for one day.

    @Renauda said in Ukraine poll:

Sounds crazy, but those old communists in Beijing have an Achilles heel called the sovereignty of states. China recognises Ukraine’s sovereignty, work on it.

    https://www.washingtonpost.com/world/2022/02/24/ukraine-china-russia-invasion-reaction/

That article suggests that China is “surprised” that the invasion actually happened, and that China is denying that it “supports” the invasion. China did not tell its citizens to leave Ukraine ahead of time. It mentions that there are around 6000 holders of China’s passports stuck in Ukraine. And of course, the CCP concocted a bunch of rhetorics blaming the USA.

These data are only up to 2020.

    Perhaps @Renauda can comment.

    More here:

    https://worldpopulationreview.com/country-rankings/us-oil-imports-by-country

The following ten countries are those that the U.S. imports the most oil from per day based on April 2020 numbers. Numbers are in thousands of barrels.

    Canada (4,088)
    Mexico (631)
    Saudi Arabia (431)
    Russia (408)
    Colombia (277)
    Ecuador (176)
    Iraq (140)
    South Korea (133)
    Brazil (104)
    The Netherlands (93)

VAERS is a mess, but we need some accurate data.

But, otoh, I'm still writing 2021 on the few checks I write these days.

Tucker Carlson is not “pro-Putin”, he is just “anti-anti-Putin,” according to this op-ed:

    https://www.politico.com/news/magazine/2022/02/23/tucker-carlson-goes-it-alone-putin-00011141

Putin, Carlson explained, has never done him — and by extension — the viewer, any wrong. Putin’s never called Carlson racist. Threatened to have him sacked. Never manufactured a lockdown-inducing pandemic. Never taught his children critical race theory or made fentanyl or attacked Christianity. So why does the Washington, D.C. establishment hate him so much?

Since @Kalus mentions it is only 20% German, it does not seem like a language that someone would pick up on random. LOL

According to Wikipedia, Mr. Crowther was born in Luxembourg to a British father and German mother.

I made chicken mole tonight with Frontera’s red mole. It was delicious. I love mole, just don’t have the patience to make it. My step grandfather, who was from Oaxaca, made it for me when I was living in LA. Fantastic.

The soldiers are all a good 3 standard deviations taller than the average Indian / Pak guy as well.

Same with the guards at the DMZ border between ROK and the DPRK.

@taiwan_girl it is very good. The printer I am using can print .05 mm layers and when I tell it to print something 20mm, it usually measures within .05 - < .10 mm
