@LuFins-Dad said in Read The Bill bill: They also need to get rid of omnibus bills. Heck, they need to pass budgets on time rather than doing continuing resolutions that lasts a quarter or less at a time multiple times a year. Not a good way to run a country if all the agencies have to deal with the legally real possibilities of running out of funds multiple times every year.

Fair. She's made the national team once, but she's not among the best.

Yo, did you ever happen to think it was just CYA, knowing that a Dem administration was coming in? And we know how crooked Dems are. They've proven it.

@Jolly Depended on your citizenship. If you were Hungarian, Dutch, Norwegian or Belgian you were treated not too shabbily even if you were in a German uniform. If you were an Austrian or German citizen, you received the special treatment and work regime. Poles received a whole other treatment.

@Jolly said in The Vega: Does Vega have a shot? Oh yeah. The redrawn district is a little redder than the old one. Of course, it also depends on how much DC spillover has moved into Prince William and Fredericksburg Counties. They've taken over Arlington, Fairfax, and Loudoun and are starting to spread west and south.

@Jolly said in Organic: Market forces drive drop in organic food purchases... https://www.convenience.org/Media/Daily/2022/Jun/22/3-Food-Beverage-Industry-Takes-Hit_Consumers We've started backing off the "organic" produce on some items. Many Americans are eating out less, You know, I think part of that is also due to the lack of staffing. Restaurant service has been pretty crappy over the last 6 months as there simply aren't enough employees. The only real solution at this point is to raise prices even more to increase wages, and yeah... That ain't going to work.

Just finished watching the full thing. 26:00... always love watching how the pianist tackles this section, it's mesmerizing to watch 30:00 and 39:00... @Klaus is right, these two parts in particular he rushed a bit and was losing sync with the orchestra Always nervous when I see some sweat beads fly onto the keyboard, you don't need that at those speeds!
