Very interesting. There are two things that amaze me about aircraft. Their ridiculous longevity (B-52, anyone?) How long it takes to go from concept, to prototype to production. With respect to #2, go back 80 years and look at the run-up to WWII. Was it (literally) decades for an idea to come to fruition?
