@jon-nyc said in Mothers Day dinners?: @Aqua-Letifer said in Mothers Day dinners?: Seafood at a hole-in-the-wall place that should charge twice as much as they do. Shouldn’t this be in the glory hole thread? Not your sister's hole in the wall, not your sister's seafood, not your sister's rates.

Antonio Brown, presumably. “All that is cap,” is probably supposed to be "all that is Kaep". But yes, as a white person I have no opinion on this that anybody should ever listen to, but it's obvious to everybody that Kaepernick is about as black as your neighborhood white guy is. Same with lots of people who cash in on their "blackness". Megastar musician Drake comes to mind. These are the sorts of "black" people your neighborhood progressive white women would love to be dear, dear friends with.

There was a Clancy book where China invaded Russia, The Bear and the Dragon, which China called the 'Northern resource Zone'. Not far from the truth.

@jon-nyc said in Hey, they can always learn to code...: Yeah I would use it on Trump or some rando we are discussing but I try not to use it for people here. Again, my apologies. It's not a problem. No apology necessary, but your apology is accepted.

Binged through. Meh. It was OK. I'm glad that I'm retired and am not limited as to how much time I wasted on this. Should have been 4-5 episodes, and not had all the extraneous bullshit. And as @LuFins-Dad said, Elsa is SO ANNOYING! click to show Glad they killed her off. I guess it's been renewed for a 2nd season. I suppose I'll waste another Saturday (at 1.25 speed, skipping all the BS dialog) when it comes out. But geez...

@Mik said in The "Bosch" spinoff: Good. Can't wait. I would guess that you're gonna like some of the extended cast.

Just watched E1. Agreed, it starts slow, but becomes pretty compelling. Critics hated it, but I expected that.

@jon-nyc said in Puzzle Time - Baby Frog: So the last croak gets our baby into the correct quadrant, and the next-to-last croak into the correct quadrant within that quadrant. That's a nice observation. The "going back in time" trick is neat. But my "going forward in time"/wavefront argument works, too.
