People bought it that didn't even own record players. It spent 16 weeks at the top of the Pop charts and won the Grammy for album of the year in 1963. It's country/soul/jazz and purely American.

I think a lot of the companies that do this set up their company outside the US, so I am not sure well they will be cracked down on.

If nothing else, conspiracy theories like that serve as proof that that tribe is scared of this economy.
