I watched it a few nights ago. I enjoyed it. Felt like an extension of the last movie or two, so probably necessary to watch those before this one. Top notch chase and fight scenes, otherwise a pretty basic story compared to other bond movies. The stairwell fight scene near the end was spectacular. The scandal I know of was in Rochdale - it's in Greater Manchester, but it's really a Lancashire town separate from Manchester. It was girls, rather than boys. This was a huge scandal that broke around 2011.
