3,4,embarrassingly creamy. Think some Starbucks concoction, without the sugar. I don't even use half and half. I use heavy cream.

I suppose I could do 4 for the toast, if I needed to.

However, no compromise on the coffee. None.

3-3-A though I could do 2-2-A or 4-4-A if it’s served without a complaint.

As for the coffee, I was making a bowl of cereal for Finley while brewing coffee. I was barely awake and accidentally poured milk into the coffee. I walked over and dumped it in the sink and Karla said “you can still drink it, no need to waste it” I replied that it was already wasted, life’s too short for bad coffee.

Slightly related, it is difficult to find a toaster that prepares toast uniformly on both sides. A couple of decades ago, I went on a quest for such a toaster. I bought 11 different toasters along the way - including a French model that cost several hundred dollars - none were entirely satisfactory.

Hey I eat tartare. But for an ordered steak I’ll take it very rare. Seared with the inside still bloody.

But yes I’ve eaten tartare all over the world. Best is fassona beef in Piedmont Italy.
