I love the English and bull mastiff breeds. Quiet, gentle giants. If they bark, you know there is a problem. We used to have them when my husband and I were first married. Then there's another one of our cat with half of her body inside the dog's ear; she would go in there to clean it. But those dogs don't live very long, and each death broke my husband's heart. So, now we have pugs.
