When the Supreme Court overturned Roe, Roberts concurred but thought the social ramifications were too severe, and so the overturn was ill advised. I take Garland's decision in a similar light. By the book, but ill advised and tone deaf. And I'm still wondering if Trump baited it into happening.

Well, the ones you get for free are. Our stuff is a bit better, but you still have a high negative rate on the lateral flow stuff.

It's an idea I am resistant to on a societal basis. On an emotional basis I have seen an awful lot of people whose lives, if you could call them that, went on far longer than they should have in any fair world.

Some very worthy people out there sacrifice everything to get the Thing, and never get it. Others get the Thing and ask, "is this all there is?" I've watched this one a couple of times by now. I've thought about this issue or something like it, oh, every day for the past 15 years or so. It's complicated.

@George-K I watched a TV documentary about this ritual on BBC Earth a year or two ago. A tad on the macabre side for my liking.

Saw something on the internet this evening that said he was basically retiring, though it seemed pretty non-specific. LOL https://www.foxnews.com/entertainment/steve-martin-retiring-this-is-weirdly-it

To play devil advocate, here is why the IRS does need additional money The cafeteria at the Texas IRS office. [image: 62a8ae966053710019ea2bf1?width=1000&format=jpeg&auto=webp] Article about walking through the office and how outdated it is There is a picture in the article above of the computer screens used and they have the old "green" lettering from the 1990's or so. For you computer people here, they said that the programs used are written in COBOL. Now, making taxes easier would solve alot of the problems. I often thought they should eliminate all deductions etc. You make this much, you pay this much.

My guess is that the enabling legislation for each of these agencies allowed for enforcement so they went ahead and built it internally.
