And the root of all that is their nebulous status.

Excellent. If you like that sort of thing, of course. Lots of new genetic treatments being developed. Like always, I wish they’d hurry the hell up.

I'm glad I don't depend on deliveries in that 16 block area.

The problem is the development of that talent. There’s just not enough starter reps to go around and reps with the 2nd string results in developing as a second string player. The NFLPA would be wise to push for a certain percentage of starting reps for 2nd and 3rd stringers in practice.

@jon-nyc said in Epstein's calendar: The important question remains, was he a creation of one or more intelligence agency? Or just a friend of them? A very astute question. The possible answer would also explain his supposed suicide.

The Frogfoot is a very good aircraft. It has been chewed to pieces in the Ukraine War. But it still has performed better than the attack helicopters, which have proven to be a one-way ticket to Valhalla. The F35 was simply not designed or made for CAS.

This is a good video. As much as I like the Internet Archive for many things they do, and I believe that they had good intentions with the "emergency lending" during the pandemic, ultimately I think the judge ruled fairly in accordance with the applicable laws and the video's author analyzed the case fairly. Indeed the redress should come from Congress who unfortunately in these days are stuck grandstanding on whether to plunge the nation off the "debt ceiling" cliff.

A bit too much. I'd rather see a blind trust with trades limited to one period per quarter and very stiff (jail) for trading communications between the trust and the congress critter.

First I’ve heard of it. For those who didn’t click the link and are wondering why an American sub would torpedo an Australian ship, they didn’t. It was a Japanese ship.

@Axtremus said in What's in the GOP Debt Limit Spending Reductions: https://www.moodysanalytics.com/-/media/article/2023/debt-limit-drama.pdf Page 6 and one talks about the macroeconomic impact. That may be what the Republicans want. If their proposal is passed, and the economy reacts as per the paper, then they can blame the bad economy on the Democrats in time for the new elections.
