Okay, now this makes sense. It was supposed to be a fake Eucharist, with Whitmer as a priestess for Kamala…

Dumb idea and it’s pissed off the Catholics.

The unmistakable foot of Andrew Comyn Irvine.

@Mik said in Democrats most to blame for inflation:

So you can decry one writer, while throwing up another to buttress your point? That seems silly. Are you declaring that a well-educated person cannot understand economics?

Not at all. I think most of the people here on this forum board are pretty well read outside of their specialty.

But I just dont think that his arguement is very valid.

Yup, it is crazy how hard it can be to keep it up and the workout that you get. Wasn't @Aqua-Letifer doing it for a while?

Yep. Jump rope's hardcore. First, the limiting factor is your legs—they seize before you really get anywhere. But they seize because your balance and timing is ass, and your legs overcompensate.

Once you dial that in, you can work on your cardio.

I was a fan of the boxer's shuffle.

Underwhelming event to unveil the robots and the market opportunities last night, which shaved billions off the stock today.

In separate notes to clients, Morgan Stanley analyst Adam Jonas shares he was “overall disappointed with the substance and detail of the presentation,” Bernstein analyst Toni Sacconaghi called the demonstration “underwhelming and stunningly absent on detail;” Barclays analyst Dan Levy noted “there were no updates indicating near-term opportunities,”Deutsche Bank analyst Edison Yu said he was “underwhelmed by the lack of details;” Laffer Tengler Investments CEO Nancy Tengler wrote it was “too general, too vague” for the market’s liking; and Wedbush analyst Dan Ives, a long-time Tesla bull, concurred “ideally Musk and Tesla should have spent more time on details.”

The answer is no. As long as the calculations are done the same and the "basis" is the same, the answer is no. Otherwise, you have to revise the data back decades to get an accurate comparison.

@Mik said in Universal limit to technological development?:

On that note, another cheery thought..

    https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/technology/we-may-only-ever-detect-signals-from-long-dead-alien-civilizations/ar-AA1rTH3s?ocid=msedgntp&pc=LCTS&cvid=70dacde2bf7c4ad1b0de1331e9289512&ei=25

If a civilization had the ability to search for signals from other planets even very recently, they would pass right by earth.

I think that there is other (intelligent) life out there but it is such a rare thing. The dinosaurs were around for millions and millions of years, and never really "evolved". If they giant meteor had not crashed into earth, would they still be "in charge"?

I was having a bathoom redone. I was quoted a price by the contractor--$12,000+
I asked the worker (Juan) how much he was getting--$700.

So........ lets say that the contractor was not using an illegal immigrant.

What do you think the bathroom quote would have been?

As I have say before, people vote with their wallets.

As @Doctor-Phibes said, illegal immigrants can mean a lot of problems, but inflation is probably way way down on the list.

Trump has historically underpolled. If true this time, it could be a bad night for Harris in the battleground states.
