Now this is sedition.

As someone I know commented this morning, “Witkoff really needs to improve his security. Fascinating though that the transcript was leaked. Was this just routine note taking or was he being surveilled?”
I see too that Trump is today trying to cover for him:
-
US President Donald Trump has defended special envoy Steve Witkoff as doing the "standard thing" after a leaked recording appeared to show him advising a Russian official on how to appeal to the president.
It was probably a "standard thing". Sedition, lol. How's that effectively declared war against US cities going? Have we conquered them yet? Haven't seen such valiant fighting from a smaller force since Ukraine.

Bad word choice but counseling belligerent foreign powers how to sell their ideas to the US president seems a little more suspect than stating the actual law to soldiers.

It was sedition, jon. Don't back off. Backing off is a sign of weakness. People will lose respect for you. Steve Witkoff would probably advise you of such. He's a font of common wisdom. Some of which is seditious.

One can calibrate what is probably "standard" in international relations with obama's hot mic moment where he admitted that he would have more latitude after the election, while speaking to Dmitry Medvedev.

Actually Obama was every bit an amateur and dangerous doofus in the pursuit of diplomacy with the Russians as is the present day dummkopf and subject of this thread. The concern today is that stakes are exponentially higher than during the Obama/Medvedev open mic incident.
