He said the quiet part out loud.

Never knew I was still fucking poor. I like tomato bisque.

Well he was just telling the truth. I can't remember the last time I had Campbell Soup--maybe as a kid, but I kind of remember my mom making her own tomato soup. I really don't know. They do have a good selection of it on the shelf in the grocery market so somebody's buying it.

EDIT: Ok, well I try the tomato bisque. I like soup--my wife almost never cooks it.

A lot of people. Yeah, it should not be in frequent rotation, but a few times a year I'll have it with a sandwich. I did eat it a lot more when I was poor. It's like ramen in that respect.

I think this guy's got a viable suit. he'll get a hefty settlement.

@Tom-K Gotta make it with milk, even maybe a splash of cream. Actually, their chicken noodle with maybe a teaspoon of cream is pretty tasty. I love soup too.

Ok thanks Mik. All that Campbell stuff is a giant salt lick so it's probably tasty. One just has to be judicious in how much one eats regularly. My go to "poor" food was pasta and jarred sauce.

                It is so damn salty.

Yeah, just watch how much you eat.

                    They have unsalted varieties:

And they have healthier lower sodium versions as well.

I thought we didn't buy stuff from people that hate us. Isn't that that bloke who sells razor blades' catchphrase?

I try not to eat tinned stuff because of all the salt but there's nothing wrong with it other than that, particularly in a pinch, financial or otherwise.

                        I was only joking
