The EPA just announced stricter rules on ethylene oxide that would require commercial sterilizing outfits to dramatically reduce emissions. The findings here could help regulators identify and more tightly monitor hot spots. Our study demonstrates the need for more accurate measurements to help identify locations to install monitors for more long-term monitoring and so we can best protect the health of people who are living in those areas," DeCarlo said. You should be able to do the monitoring of health by geography to identify the problem rather than monitoring the ethylene oxide. Of course the problem has already occurred by that time. And both should be monitored.

Yes, they might start becoming expensive anachronisms. But they are so nice. I'd hate to see them go the way of the battleship.

When the organisation was a free trade and investment body, the European Common Market, it was of great benefit to its member states in terms of streamlining the flow of goods, services and capital across borders among economies of scale. Since the end of the Cold War it has morphed into a hydra quite out of touch with the individual state needs and peculiarities of its membership. As an organisation it has very much overreached itself into the day to day political sphere of European life and requires a complete overhaul which, if necessary, will require redefined mission and mandate for its continuance and future viability.

It doesn’t answer my question, but 20% of Trans Women have reportedly been incarcerated. https://transequality.org/sites/default/files/docs/resources/NCTE_Blueprint_for_Equality2012_Prison_Reform.pdf 5% of the population as a whole will be incarcerated. https://bjs.ojp.gov/content/pub/pdf/Llgsfp.pdf Hmmm… 70% are convicted for sexual assaults, violent offenses, or both.

@Jolly said in Denied: https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2024/06/pelosi-insurrection-my-story-hasnt-changed-officer-sund/quote BTW, I heard Loudermilk being interviewed about the Pelosi footage. That footage came from HBO and the Jan 6 Committee had it. And then destroyed it. Um...isn't that a crime? The Secret Service agent that Hutchinson said that Trump fought for the steering wheel, tried to correct that lie with the Jan 6 Committee. His lawyer was denied three times, three different months. When the agent was finally brought before the committee, he wasn't asked about the event and had to interject the correction in his testimony. https://nodebb.the-new-coffee-room.club/topic/17603/a-bad-day-for-trump/123?_=1718110738839

@taiwan_girl said in More election interference: In his defense, it is possible that it did look like Russian operation. Supposedly the "Looks like Russian disinformation" story was fielded by Sec-State-to-be Anthony Blinken. https://judiciary.house.gov/media/in-the-news/biden-campaign-blinken-orchestrated-intel-letter-discredit-hunter-biden-laptop A former CIA official testified that then-Biden campaign senior adviser, now-Secretary of State Antony Blinken "played a role in the inception" of the public statement signed by current and past intelligence officials that claimed the Hunter Biden laptop was part of a Russian disinformation campaign. Former CIA Deputy Director Michael Morrell testified before the House Judiciary and Intelligence Committees, and revealed that Blinken was "the impetus" of the public statement signed in October 2020 that implied the laptop belonging to Hunter Biden was disinformation. House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan, R-Ohio, and House Intelligence Committee Chairman Mike Turner, R-Ohio, sent a letter to Blinken Thursday, notifying him that the panels are "conducting oversight of federal law-enforcement and intelligence matters within our respective jurisdictions." "We are examining that public statement signed by 51 former intelligence officials that falsely discredited a New York Post story regarding Hunter Biden’s laptop as supposed Russian disinformation," they wrote. "As part of our oversight, we have learned that you played a role in the inception of this statement while serving as a Biden campaign advisor, and we therefore request your assistance with our oversight." In October 2020, weeks before the presidential election, dozens of ex-national security officials signed onto a letter claiming that Hunter's laptop had "all the classic earmarks of a Russian information operation." The former officials included former Obama CIA Director John Brennan, former Obama DNI James Clapper, and former CIA director, then-Defense Secretary Leon Panetta, among others. The lawmakers said that based on Morell’s testimony, it is "apparent" that the Biden campaign "played an active role in the origins of the public statement, which had the effect of helping to suppress the Hunter Biden story and preventing American citizens from making a fully informed decision during the 2020 presidential election."
