Based on hearing you guys experiences in the field, I am not sure that COVID was the only cause. Seems like it has been happening over a number of years - due to companies focusing more on making money than patients.

What profession is enjoying more respect - teachers? politicians? journalists? police? athletes? actors?

Interesting breakdowns in the ordinal regression tables.

Less trust by the young, overwhelming trust in the above 65’s who are actually the ones who need the most medical care.

Also in the socio economic variables, lower education, lower income, and right wing politics all lean towards less trust.

Be that as it may, I think people don’t trust the “system”, the set up, the insurance companies etc. I think people trust individual physicians. That’s my feeling.

I think that's about right. I trust my physicians, but I do a lot of research to select them and I am my own advocate. I think the more you educate yourself on healthcare the stronger consumer of it you will be. In my case it just kind of happened based on my profession, but I think its worth someone's time to read up on the things that affect them. Learn what sources are credible or not.

                Middle managers.

We are the rock on which this country stands. We provide sanity in a world gone mad. We are the final bulwark against the ravening hordes of mediocrity and their idiotic support animals. We provide solace where none is available, and guidance to those who are lost. What's more, We Are Legion.

Try to conceive of a world without middle managers. It's impossible. You would literally be forced to do all those annoying little tasks that nobody really likes having to deal with and end up slightly spoiling the weekend.
