Would it work?
Depends on who gets to define ‘work’.
Would you support a system that gave upstate New York a bit more power in the election of statewide officials?
No, I’m an individual rights guy. I don’t like the idea of trying to equalize group outcomes at the expense of treating people the same. It doesn’t matter to me if you define the groups by geography or ethnicity. It’s conceptually the same.

A very biased (and maybe misleading) article headline.
From MSN:
Reggie Moore, director of Milwaukee's Office of Violence Prevention, said he recently intervened in a dispute between Trammell and a young man. Moore thought the incident was related to a Trump sign that Trammell was carrying...
Police have not said whether the killing was politically motivated.
Thankfully there is a timeline of protests and violence in Portland that document the violence well before Trump entered the picture. Revisionist history to blame on Trump.

A fair request for sure.
Lest anyone read to much into WAPO’s article listen to the Reagan Foundation interview with Newt Gingrich in June. I did on CSPAN. I think after that you get a better appreciation of overall sentiment of the foundation towards Trump.

And we could finally have a black female president.
Thank God
It's about time
What a terrible country we are
A black female has all the qualifications we want in a president
Too many white men, yuck

Silence, infidel.
@Friday said in I love to X-Files:
Back in the day, my not-yet-husband and I had this routine every Friday. Buy booze. Eat dinner. Watch X-Files. Drive 6 hours to Mammoth Mountain. Drink booze. Sleep. Ski for 2 days. Drive back home. We did that for 2 seasons, from February to July.
That is an all-around badass routine.
Yeah, I've seen nothing post-Mulder and don't intend to. And a lot of the episodes are hit-and-miss but that's what makes them kinda fun now, watching them again.
My uncle and grandmother were into the show, too, so for holidays when we all got together, whoever was around would watch on the Fridays we got into town.

I first noticed there's nothing next to the chest. Boris just jumped up four feet in the air to get there. Yikes!
That picture is from the dining room of our house in 2003. In the condo, it's positioned differently. It's possible to leap up there from the dining room table, but that's a jump too - distance wise, it's about 2 feet, and then up.
Funny how the body language of the pianists contrasts. I mean look at Schiff, and compare with Trifonov.
Evgeny Kissin, Yuja Wang, Seong Jin Cho, Daniil Trifonov, Mikhail Pletnev, Andras Schiff, Sergei Babayan, Denis Kozhukhin
The whole thing.
