@Mik said in Hey George - a recipe you might like:

This is the Chicken Milanese I made last night, but it uses mayo instead of egg. Easier, faster and done in the oven. Sauteeing is fine, but this is easier and more reliable. A sauteed breaded chicken can go from underdone crust to overdone crust in a few seconds. I would cut down on the mayo next time. It's really too much. You could likely use egg too and then as I did add Italian seasoning to the bread crumbs.

Yeah. Made it tonight. Mrs. George approves.

I used mayo, garlic powder, parm, and panko. Came out really good, but the 25 minute cook time is a woeful underestimate if the chicken breast is thick. It took about 45 minutes to get to 165 degrees.

I forgot to add italian seasoning - next time.

    Nevertheless it was good.

Definitely a "will do again" recipe.

I'm not saying it's not possible. And the number of reports is very troubling. I'm just saying that I'll believe it when there's concrete evidence.

I don't understand that. Won't it make the off times even more crowded?

I think so - in fact horribly crowded.

They should make it 6am to 10pm. If you're serious, you can go outside those hours. But the vast majority won't.

8-10a and 7-10p will now be crazy busy.

  • Meanwhile, in NYC.

@Jolly Sure there are, but the reason behind the lines they draw don't follow the politics of the other two branches. Really at all.

In some cases they're encouraged to work part time, since that way their employer can avoid giving them as many benefits.

Are we going to be in a position where we're going to be able to see the next outbreak coming far enough in advance that we can shut down soon enough to not cause hospital saturation? I very much doubt that.

We should be able to take a shot at calculating the answer to that question now.

Hopefully that is part of the plan used to turn the world back on.
