In fairness to them, they've been in a very secure bubble and haven't had to change for a good 70 years. But funnily enough, their time is coming, too. They're going to get bought up in about 5 years and become completely irrelevant. That is something I'd place a great deal of money on. Formal talks and first steps are already happening.

Obama spent his 8 years in office politicizing and weaponizing all government agencies. Trump bashers run around yapping about how Trump "might" try to not leave office and set himself up as a dictator, in spite of the fact that there's zero evidence to support such a claim, while the evidence is overwhelming that this is exactly what Obama and the democrats were doing - not to set up an individual as dictator, but to establish the Democrat party as dictator.

One thing I have seen is graphs showing usage over time of all these terms in the NYT. What you see can only be described as a coordinated rollout that basically began with the second Obama term,

This guy is a PhD student who studies the movement critically, A good twitter follow. Here’s a graph he put out last week, I’ve seen dozens like it from him. But no electoral waves. Just relentless increase.

So why am I doing all the work? Up at dawn to start the pit.. trim the brisket, get it on. Now I have to shower and go pick up Peach Truck peaches - 25 lbs pf the most fantastic fruit ever.

Is YFR making you can the peaches, too?😱

I have not see one Biden ad. Almost all my YouTube videos have
    Trump ads.

Maybe we are both being targeted?

If that's what it takes. Of course we have to have one first.

    @taiwan_girl said in U.S. Citizen?:

related but different. I know that President Trump talked in the past about looking into ending citizenship just because you were born in the US, regardless of the circumstance.

I actually agree that this should be looked at.

Yes, many people over many years have wanted this looked at.

I wonder why it is never looked at?

    Not to worry, TG.
You will pretty much run the world. If you don't wanna drink, you won't have to. We'll just roll you a doobie at breakfast, you'll be ready for a Trumpian type day.

Was there a topic for this thread, or did I completely ruin it.

    Sorry. My almost sincerest apologies.

    An aside...

I saw "Blazing Saddles" in a theater when it came out in, what, 1976, 1977? I remember the gal I was dating at the time. Mary Anne was her name.

The theater was in a...well, let's say it was not "diverse" neighborhood.

When that line came in the movie, we could both hear the guy behind us comment, "That's NOT funny."

“Have you educated yourself on systemic racism and your potential contributions to it?”

I'd be happy to consider a contribution to systemic racism if I could find a worthy organization.

But I think we all know there is no such thing.

@Horace said in CNN op-ed: Trump is bringing more hope and change than Obama ever could:

No opinion can be considered morally coherent unless its first priority is to end all racism.

    What a racist comment.🤔😀

I'm sitting here canceling orders on a couple of COVID patients that died last night. Talked with one of the respiratory gals, that works at a 300-bedder 35 miles from here...They're back to bumping hearts, because of COVID patients.

The virus has not gone away....

The ramp explanation was priceless, too.

After doing almost 600 salutes and baking in the sun for over an hour, the President was worried he would bust his ass on a metal ramp.
