This reminds me of when I was a kid - I'd do this with all sorts of household items, which would then mysteriously go missing, much to my mother's annoyance.
I figured out that if you looked up close at my dad's driver's mat in the car, with a little bit of imagination it looked a lot like an invading Dalek army.
