@89th said in Don't mess with the parents of a spiteful kid.: Hahahahaha BTW...how did they know it was your dad that filled in the hole? They don't, unless there was some witness. They just assume. I'd ask for proof, including any surveillance video of the common areas.

Y’all are missing the obvious twist in this article...that global warming caused the flood in the 1860s!

Sorry maybe because it’s 2am...what’s the connection? It’s hard for me in Twitter land to understand who’s talking to who.

Based on your risk profile, we believe you’re in line behind 268.7 million people across the United States. When it comes to Connecticut, we think you’re behind 2.8 million others who are at higher risk in your state. And in Tolland County, you’re behind 117,400 others. If the line in Connecticut was represented by about 100 people, this is where you’d be standing: 85 (about 1 million people behind "prisoners" ) lol

@taiwan_girl said in USA Covid Projections: @Copper said in USA Covid Projections: @LuFins-Dad said in USA Covid Projections: I'd put in a "Western World" caveat. Asian countries are generally more capable of containing these things for a variety of reasons. Yes, they can contain the reporting. That is so much easier than containing the disease. But we have learned a lot in recent years are catching up quickly. Disagree with you a little bit there copper. I think the main difference is that in Asian countries, there is more of a “society” mindset, rather than an “individual” mindset. This makes it easier, to have rules like mask wearing, or something like that, which as is being seen in the US, I think it have hurt the overall response to Covid. I agree. I would also look at age demographics, obesity and heart disease.

@jon-nyc said in Breitbart against Trump lawyer Lin Wood: Lin Wood speaks sooth. If you believe the election in Georgia was rigged, you should avoid the runoff in protest. After all, voting won't help, the winners have already been decided. However, if Republicans boycott in droves, that will shine on a light on this whole foul proceeding. I once learned that winning a close one is not so great because lots of things can happen outside your control that may cause you to lose, you need to win by a lot. I never forgot that.

She proposed it in the budget process??? That's completely inappropriate and seems deceptive. Was she trying to slip that by the media? Or it could mean she's just stoopid. The staff should have told her it was inappropriate. It will be interesting to see how far it gets in the proper process, and it will likely get more media converage because it's the second round.

Have you seen the valuations of HBO Max, Netflix, Hulu, Disney+, all the people cutting the cable cord and going to streaming? New content is the lifeblood of these 100’s of billions of dollar bets being made. I’m sure employment is in the millions. What part of “essential” is being questioned?

Are we talking about the deal where they verified their own compliance? That was good enough for Barry, but it ain't going to stop the bomb.
